“Cytotoxic Effects of Blue Scorpion Venom (Rhopalurus junceus) in a Glioblastoma Cell Line Model” This study investigated how blue scorpion venom affects glioblastoma cells, an aggressive type of brain cancer. The researchers observed that the venom reduced the viability of tumor cells and promoted mechanisms related to cell death.

The venom of the Rhopalurus junceus scorpion induces cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and apoptotic cell death in human non-small cell lung cancer cell lines In this study, blue scorpion venom was tested on human non-small cell lung cancer cells. The scientists found that the venom halted the proliferation of cancer cells and triggered apoptosis, which is programmed cell death.

Acute Oral Toxicity and Genotoxicity of Heteroctenus junceus Scorpion Venom This study evaluated the safety of blue scorpion venom administered orally. The results showed low acute toxicity, and no significant evidence of genetic damage was found in the tests conducted.
